How to Get Your Old Facebook Chat Window

We all hate the new facebook chat window as it does not show all the online users. You cannot even pop out of chat as in the previous version of the chat box. The new chat box only shows the people with whom you interact with the most and the “others” remain hidden. But now you can get the old facebook chat window back just by installing a browser extension created by ENZYME (http://userscripts.org/users/367424 ). Just follow these steps:

Go to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/107159
2)  Click on install from the top right corner of the screen
3)    After installing the extension, logout of your facebook account, close the browser and restart it.
4)    After restarting, log in to your facebook account and you will be able to use the old chat window !
Note: You can use this extension on Google chrome and Mozilla Firefox successfully.

To uninstall it just go to tools/Extensions and look for the Facebook Sidebar Chat Reversion and uninstall.

Find out the hidden files of Pendrive

 

Sometimes files can not be viewed in pen drive due to attack of viruses in Windows operating system. But if you check the properties of pendrive,it is seen that the hidden files existing on it and also many short cuts of files are seen. Now we will see that how to find out the hidden files of Pen drive.

Follow the instructions:

Go to Start > All programme/accessories/notepad >then write the below sign on the notepad.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d DRIVE LETTER:\*.*

DRIVE LETTER:

del *.lnk /f/s/q

del *.exe /f/q

del Autorun.inf /f/q

c:

tree

cls

exit

(Here you should use your pen drives drive letter replacing your computer drive letter.)

Now save it by Unhide.bat

Create a Shortcut or Hotkey for the Safely Remove Hardware Dialog

If you often use removable USB devices like a flash drive, you are probably already familiar with the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon that sits in the system tray. The problem for many people is that the icon is tiny, and clicking it just right to bring up the menu is a pain.But don't worry,you can make a shortcut for this.For this do the following step

• Right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose New > Shortcut:
• Write 'RunDll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll' in the location box.
• Give it a name, and you’ll have a shortcut icon that will pull up the Safely Remove Hardware dialog.

Now when you want to remove a USB device just double click in the short cut icon and easily remove the device.

If you want to assign a shortcut key to this dialog, you can right-click the icon and open the properties dialog, then go to the Shortcut tab.Add in the shortcut key and close the dialog. As long as the shortcut is on your desktop you shouldn’t have to restart anything for the hotkey to work. You can also move the shortcut to another folder, for instance your quick launch bar.

Increase your speed of copy-paste in your Pen-drive

We have to do copy paste in pen drive from computer. Sometimes we use various software to increase the speed of copy paste.But we can do that without using any software…………..but how???

So Follow the below instructions:

Go to my computer > Properties >  select Hardware > Device manager >double click to Communication Port(COM1) from ports > select Port settings > Bits per second:128000 > then select Flow Control >Hardware> OK.

Now see the speed of copy-paste.
